June 16-19 - Still a Swiftie
Are you ready for it? This will be the ultimate Swiftie experience of the summer! We will imagine we are backstage of the Eras Tour and recreate some of the props, visuals, wardrobe, accessories, and more. We know Taylor had a hand in creating every detail of this tour and we will honor her with our versions of this epic fan experience! Some of the crafts include but are not limited to… Designing our version of Backstage Passes, painting and bedazzling a miniature wooden guitar, making paper mache microphones, decorating a Black Hat like the one given to a lucky fan at each show, create and frame an album cover poster, making a heart hands pop art project, wardrobe recreates (so bring a Jean jacket and let’s design it with a Swiftie theme) and we’ll be styling our summer camp shirts by cutting fringe and beading the ends. Plus we’ll be crafting a giant friendship bracelet banner and making and trading friendship bracelets. Did I mention, to commemorate the Tortured Poets Department release we will paint a ceramic typewriter that we can use as a pencil holder at home. If we can squeeze anything else into this jam packed week, we might! Cuz when you get us Swifties together, the creativity just happens!
