Join us for an intensive, hands-on Location Sound Workshop designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for capturing high-quality sound in real-world environments.

Whether you're an aspiring sound designer, filmmaker, or audio enthusiast, this workshop will provide invaluable insights into the art and science of location sound recording.

Workshop Overview:

This dynamic 6-hour workshop combines lecture with practical exercises, focusing on the challenges and techniques specific to recording location sound. Participants will learn how to operate field equipment, manage environmental noise, and capture crisp, clear audio that enhances the storytelling of any project.

The session also includes a demonstration of various microphones, recorders, and mixing tools used in location sound, ensuring participants gain real-world experience.

Brian shares his expertise as an instructor in Houston Community College's filmmaking program enriching the next generation of sound professionals.
