Love to sew? Or just keen for a cuppa and a chat? Come join us for a relaxed get-together where we’ll be sewing pouches for injured wildlife and working on other meaningful projects (poppy shop merch).
Bring your sewing machine, scissors, or just yourself, there’s always something to do, and every little bit helps!
Whether you’re a seasoned sewer or just want to connect with friends over a cuppa, we’d love to have you.

WVNA is all about connecting past and present women who have served in the Australian Defence Force with social support, resources and information.
WVNA is inclusive of all ranks who served in the Navy, Army or Air Force who have served either in a full time or Reserve capacity.
WVNA Townsville is also inclusive of all service women, whether they have been deployed or not.
If you are interested in connecting with other female veterans (serving or ex serving) or need support, please come along we would love to see you there.
This will give us a chance to make new friendships and meet each other. No pressure to share stories but just to let you all know that there is support out there.
