Join the Milwaukee iaedp chapter for a morning of networking and education with fellow eating disorder professionals. The event will feature the presentation “Addressing Diabetes Stigma to Improve Treatment Outcomes in Eating Disorders and Diabetes Management,” led by two esteemed professionals in the field.
Dr. Rebecka Peebles, MD, FAAP, DABOM Vice President of Adolescent Medicine at Monte Nido & Affiliates, is a nationally recognized expert in adolescent medicine and eating disorders. She brings over two decades of clinical and research experience, including her leadership at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on medical evaluation, bone health, and biobehavioral links in youth with eating disorders.
Hannah Lochner, RD, CD, LD, CDCES is a distinguished registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist. Hannah specializes in diabetes technology and has extensive experience supporting individuals with coexisting diabetes and eating disorders. Her work focuses on helping clients navigate the challenges of managing both conditions while improving overall health and quality of life.
Attendees will earn continuing education credits, have the opportunity to connect with colleagues and engage in a meaningful discussion around this important and often overlooked intersection of care.
