The Chequamegon Bay is a special place for artists—and during the 62nd Annual Bayfield Festival of Arts, the community comes together to celebrate that creative spirit!
Set in beautiful Memorial Park along the shores of Lake Superior, this juried art show features more than 75 fine artists from across the region. Browse unique works in pottery, painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, wood, glass, and more, all while taking in the scenic views of Bayfield’s waterfront.
The festival also kicks off the third annual Art Escape, a 9-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island. Look for artist open houses, demos, workshops, and gallery events throughout the week.
Inspired by the Big Lake? Many participating artists are too. Look for booths with a special “Lake Superior Inspired” badge to discover how Lake Superior has shaped their work. These artists will also be featured in the official festival guide.
Come for the art, stay for the lake views, and soak up the creative energy of Bayfield.
