Small Craft Advisory reunites Rich “Cap” Capiccioni, bassist Dennis McNulty and guitar meister Tim Shire, all former bandmates in Rock Salt & Nails, a mainstay of the local 1970s music scene. The trio reeled in Canadian castaway and longtime fixture in Cleveland bluegrass, Roland Kausen, a veteran of bands like the Hotfoot Quartet, Crossties, Mockingbird, Brand New Hat and those darlings of the local Irish music scene, the Bogtrotters, to join them on mandolin and tenor harmony. Precision picking and gale-force vocals sound the eight-score years and more, all told, of the Small Craft Advisory musical odyssey. All hands on deck and anchors aweigh for a truly memorable run!
