Join us for our very first Asian Fusion Dinner on Monday June 23rd. We will host a cocktail hour featuring Asian inspired cocktails from 5-6 P.M., with the Five Course Paired Dinner to begin at 6 P.M. We are switching it up a little for this one of a kind dinner. The KP Chefs are creating their own spin on some classic Asian dishes and we are partnering with Imperial Beverage to pair each course with saki and spirits from Japan and Soju from Korea. This dinner is meant to be a fun exploration of many different Asian cultures and cuisine with our own KP flare. The rich culture and delicious food that we love from all of the Asian countries are the inspiration for this Five Course Paired Dinner. This is the first dinner that we are offering something other than wine for the pairings. Imperial Beverage has a great variety of saki and spirits from Japan and Korea as well as a ton of knowledge about the spirits that come from these regions. Course One: Spring Rolls with Prawns, Vietnamese peanut sauce paired with Japanese 75, Yuzu Gin, Lime, Pepper Simple Syrup, Sparkling Wine
Course Two: Grilled Lobster with yuzu kosho butter, crispy rice with egg confit, Tamari, Kombu, mirin paired with Yuzu Saki Spritz
Course Three: Peking Duck, scallion pancake, hoison, paired with Tozai Typhoon Saki
Course Four: Thai Chinese BBQ Short Ribs, sesame shitake mushroom asparagus sushi roll, wakame salad, paired with Japanese Whiskey Saki Cocktail
