The CARBOM 5x5x5000 is happening again this year!!! Saturday, July 12th, 2025. Squeaky Pete’s! downtown Baton Rouge. It’s a 5pm start. Start is a Carbomb shot! Followed by a 5k. Another Carbomb and another 5k and so on. There are 5, 5k routes courtesy of “Happy’s Running Club”. Most of us know them from running on Tuesdays. Hopefully Juliet, our reigning champion, will come run and let have use of the HRC maps.
Runners, Show up early to get your tab started. I will also post this as an event. Comment below if you would like to be a part of this Lunacy so I can have a headcount.
Volunteers are awesome!! Please come assist! If you don’t want to run, you can still drink…..and help us keep track of times, laps and drinks.
We’ve typically had 10-15 people running the full event but others that get miles.
You can only win if you drink CARBOMS!
If you want to run and don’t drink, no worries. Couple years back a runner subbed root beer..tho he said that turned out to be a bad idea. Another did butter milk. Others beer. Brave souls. Just try to make it a challenge.
There is no entrance fee. This is a rogue run. Streets are not closed. Please obey traffic rules.
