Join us at 1931 as local indie heroes Commonside return to Birstall for the first time in over a decade!

Andy Cartwright and co. are back with a bang 🎸🤘 The band that brought you classic hits like Maybe Tomorrow, I Will Follow, and Point Of No Return bring their signature britpop style sound to the 1931 stage.

Since 2020, the band have been prolific in releasing new music; treating us to 3 new singles and an EP. Their 2024 single Someone Else You Know blends dreamy jangle pop guitar with a heavier grungy sound through the chorus. The constant pounding drum beat is enough to keep any crowd clapping and engaged in the build up to a singalong chorus 🎸🎤.

For any fans of Oasis, The Stone Roses, the Britpop era and Indie Music in general, this is not one to miss!! Gig starts at 2pm so get down nice and early to get a good spot!
