We Need You! AGM – Be Part of Our Touch Community
Our Touch Football competition is run entirely by volunteers, and we’d love some fresh faces to help us keep it thriving. At our upcoming AGM, we’ll be looking to fill a few important but easy-to-manage roles. If you’ve got a little time to spare, we’d love to have you on board.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
• 4 x Junior Representatives – Perfect for mums, dads or grandparents who are already at junior games. You’ll help organise junior matches, answer the odd question from parents, and be a friendly point of contact.
• 2 x Field Setup Helpers – Great for retirees, high school students, or anyone with a few spare minutes before games. Help set up to 14 fields so they’re ready for play.
• Equipment Manager – Take charge of the gear and lead the small team of field setters to make sure everything’s ready for a smooth game day.
• Player Registration Officer – Stroll around during games, have a chat, and check players are registered. Easy to do while you’re already at the fields.
• Secretary – Join the board to help with meeting notes and keeping our admin on track.
• Committee Members – Lend a hand where needed, share ideas, and keep our comp running smoothly.
These roles are light on time but big on community impact. You’ll meet great people, be part of something fun, and help keep touch football alive and well in our town.
AGM Date: Wednesday August 20th 6pm - 7pm, Bathurst RSL.
