Rain Garden Clean-Up

Interested in learning the ins and outs of rain gardens? Hate invasive plants? Want to spend some time in the sun and help out your community? Come join the Summit SWCD team in cleaning up the UA Field Station rain garden. Here you can learn about rain gardens, tend to one, and then explore one of the most beautiful areas in Summit County, Bath Nature Preserve.

Summit Soil & Water Conservation District manages five watersheds within Summit County: Furnace Run, Wingfoot, Yellow Creek, Portage Lakes, and Headwaters Tuscarawas. Join the team in highlighting these watersheds every month from May-September through our HUC Highlight program!
