Summit Lake Cleanup

Join us along with Keep Akron Beautiful, Riverkeepers Ohio, and Akron City Council in a cleanup hosted by Ohio & Erie Canal Coalition around Summit Lake! Help us to clean up the lake and spend time outside! All supplies will be supplied. Dress for the weather! Clean up will run from 9 am - 12 pm. Summit Soil & Water Conservation District manages five watersheds within Summit County: Furnace Run, Wingfoot, Yellow Creek, Portage Lakes, and Headwaters Tuscarawas. Join the team in highlighting these watersheds every month from May-September through our HUC Highlight program!
