The weekend is a fun, connecting and insightful weekend for boys and their dads aged 10-13 yrs
Boys grow up fast in the ever-changing digital age. To ensure on -going solid relationships with your boys before they enter the teen -age. It is critical to spend quality time together to connect and reflect and create strong connections so that you can navigate life together through the challenging years
The Father / Son Connection Weekend offers opportunity to build these foundations through:
• Explore the changes in relationship between father and son
• A look at what transitions is happening for the boy and the
challenges’ that come with those changes
• Spend some uninterrupted quality time with each other.
• Learn about sharing stories, reflection and respectful
conversations in a safe and supportive space.
• Quality father-son time and great meals
• Father and son time in nature-based activities, as well as time
for reflection, sharing stories and connection with others in a
group setting.
The program marks changes in the boy related to transitions to high school, awakening to body changes, and the challenges that come with a greater exposure to the adult world.
This camp is also a great preparation and lead up to the Stepping into Manhood Rites of Passage program for 14–17year-old teenagers
