Join us in the Manor house for a Tea and Talk with the Collector of the Manor in Mourning exhibit, Virginia. An expert on Victorian mourning practices, Virginia, started her collection after participating in the Elmwood "Soul of the City" tours and has continued to collect over 100 items. Her collection spans from hair jewelry to 1700s mourning tea sets to full mourning attire to mourning goods catalogues! Over tea and a guided tea come learn all about this amazing collection- what to wear one, the rules of mourning, and the truth about tear vials.
