Historic Halloween Hi-jinks

The supernatural and spooky that we associate with Halloween today, got its start far in the past. In the nineteenth century and earlier, different games and practices were done on Halloween. It was believed that these games could "tell your future". Join us the first four Thursdays in October as we explore those historic Halloween hi-jinks meant to "foretell the future". Our historic house will be set up with the Manor in Mourning exhibit showcasing mourning practices from the nineteenth century. These tours will offer a chance to view the exhibit after hours while also trying out some Halloween Hi-jinks of your own!
