Llancarfan and Penmark History Walk

In the Dark Ages, Llancarfan was one of the most important places in northern Europe. The monastery established there by St Cadoc is steeped in history and folklore. As is the Iron Age hill fort that watches over it. We also have the birth place of the controversial figure of Iolo Morgannwg and one of the earliest Norman castles in Glamorgan at Penmark.

Tickets are £10 for adults but children 16 and under go free so this is a great way of introducing them to our rich and fascinating local history.
