King’s Square Writers’ Group
Anyone got a story to tell? Who likes shooting the breeze? Who has written a poem and put it in a
drawer somewhere? Who watches TV shows or films and thinks I could do a better story line than
that or write better lyrics?!
The truth to all those questions is that just picking up a pen and tapping fingers on your key board
and having a go is how it’s done… everybody has a story to tell and everyone loves a story. And
every family has a story worth the telling.
We are a new group meeting in Barry Library each Monday morning 10am till Midday. What we
have in common is that we like telling stories, writing stuff and enjoying where the words might
take us. It is always fun and interesting. And we are all different.
What we promise is work can be included in an annual anthology if you would like that. That we
are always positive about member’s work and members contributions. We are supportive and
accepting of all our colleagues and their work.
Come and join us. Just turn up and see what you think. Have a go!
