Event details
• No entry fee (FREE event for summer session teams / players).
• Winning team receives entry to the 2025 9 Ball Border Battle event (worth $1,900 per spot) Nov 7-8-9 at the Americana Conference, Resort, Spa & Waterpark in Niagara Falls (Canadian side).
• Event Format is Toledo style. Toledo style is an exciting and fun format for players of all skill level. It promotes playing players of similar skill level a single game in a team tournament format. If you haven’t played Toledo, give it a shot, you’ll love it!!!!
• Participating teams must be existing Simcoe / Grey / Muskoka summer session league 9 Ball teams.
• Teams must consist of at least four original members from one summer session team roster; an additional four roster changes will be allowed per team (so…..4 original members from your team must be on the roster and you can add 4 more players).
• Team rosters may contain a maximum of eight players, minimum of five players. (only 5 players play in a match)
• The handicap total for the five players playing in each match cannot exceed 23. It’s in a teams best interested to add up to 23 as there isn’t a game spot for teams coming in below 23.
• All players must be active summer session 9 Ball players and must have played a minimum of four league matches in the Summer session.
• Any player with less than ten lifetime matches (i.e. new players) must be approved by Craig Misener.
• Players may be on multiple rosters (max 3) but may only play on one team per round during the event.
• Winning team receives entry, hotel, and green fees for the 2025 Border Battle 9 Ball team event
• Each Border Battle spot includes three rooms for Friday and Saturday night. Two of the rooms will be on site at the Americana Resort (8444 Lundy’s Lane) and one room will be off site at the Ramada (7389 Lundy’s Lane).
• PRE – REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED. Be sure the team / players you bring to the event meet all eligibility requirements.
• Border Battle Spots cannot be sold and hold no cash value, the winning team must attend the 2025 Border Battle Tournament or the runner up will receive the border battle spot
• Winning players must remain active 9 Ball players in the Fall session in order to play at the Border Battle.
