Emerging Artist Program Showcase

The Barns2Beaches Music Tour, featuring the Emerging Artist Program Showcase, rolls into downtown Barrie on Saturday, August 23, 2025!

Join us at Meridian Place (30 Simcoe St) at 7:00 PM for a free, family-friendly concert celebrating Canada’s rising musical talent. Enjoy an evening of 100% Canadian music, featuring original songs and vibrant medleys of iconic Canadian hits.

Presented by the Canadian Musicians Co-operative, this high-energy showcase is the perfect summer night out for music lovers of all ages!

The Emerging Artist Program is a music-industry incubator that sees local youth employed full-time for the summer in the music sector. Artists, techs, managers, and more receive hands-on training and skills development, then cap-off their summer employment with a showcase concert for the community.
