Joe Kent-Walters is a multi-award-winning comedian and actor. He has been delighting audiences up and down the country with his idiosyncratic style of outrageous character comedy, most notably with his comic creation Frankie Monroe.
His “mesmerising and unpredictable presence” (Chortle) performing as Frankie saw him win the 2021 Chortle Student Comedy Award, The 2023 BBC New Comedy Award winner, The Best show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2024 followed by The 2024 Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Festival.

Hull’s very own Jack Gleadow is a rising star in the world of comedy, known for his high-energy performances packed with physical comedy, razor-sharp storytelling, music, and audience interaction. His unique blend of old-school variety and modern stand-up has made him one of the most exciting acts on the circuit today.
Fresh from performing across the globe, from Las Vegas to Miami, the Caribbean to Dubai, and all across Europe, Jack truly lives up to his title as The International Man of Silly.
Back in the UK, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy, supporting Jason Manford and Clinton Baptiste in some of the country’s most prestigious theatres and arenas.
Jack’s journey into entertainment started early, born and raised in Hull, he became the most awarded young magician in British history, winning both national and international accolades for his comedy magic. By 18, he swapped the wand for a microphone, drawing inspiration from the golden era of variety and quickly establishing himself as one to watch.
His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, Jack has racked up an impressive list of awards, including:
