About the event

Maypole Dance - May 3rd

Join the Downeast Folk Dancers for a celebration of May Day with Polish circle and couple dances, including waltzes, polkas, mazurs, a polonaise, a kujawiak, and an oberek. The highlight of the evening will be a traditional maypole dance. Music by the Kotwica Band with dance teaching by David and Carolyn Rapkievian. No experience needed. Admission is $10 at the door.
