Weird Walkin’ Wednesday – The Bubble Bustle

Pop, walk, and play — this mile is all about good vibes and lighthearted, floaty fun.

Floaty, shimmery bubbles are our inspiration for this walk. We’ll celebrate the coming summer with BUBBLES! Few things bring delight like bubbles, and we’re gunna delight for a whole mile around Downtown Bangor!

Weird Walkin’ Wednesdays are an excuse to dress up, have fun, get outside, raise a little ruckus, and walk a mile in the process. Everyone’s welcome to walk, roll, or stroll together, no costume/prop required.

*How to Participate*

1. Come ready to be forever blowing bubbles! BYObubbles or let us provide them for you!

2. Meet in West Market Square noon

3. Walk a one-mile route together

4. Bubble over with excitement in the square (and wipe the soap off our hands)

5. Disperse in good cheer

When we’re done, consider heading to a Downtown establishment for a fizzy soda or boba tea!
