"Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace" is featured in the "Limca Book of Records 2016" as "The Longest Running Poetry Event in India".

Over the last 14+ years “Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace” poets have wrung tears of joy, nods of recognition, fleeting smiles, happy applause, wistful memories ... and several unforgettable poems.

ABOUT THE POET: Poorva

From writing poems because 'they came to her like that' to learning to edit her poetry as a writer - Poorva's journey with poetry began when she was 7 years old, took different turns and today, she not only continues to write but also teach the reading and writing of poetry with the same joy! A friend once told her, 'You have a poem for everything' and she has never denied that sweeping generalisation!

While most of her poems remain in her journals and various diaries, Poorva writes online on @thewritingonthereel. She also talks about poetry with the purpose of making it accessible and joyous on her podcast - Poetry with Poorva, available on Spotify.
