TAKE AN ART BREAK Day in Union Square

You are all invited to this New Event, organized by the Union Square Association, Friends of Union Square, and The MUSE in partnership with Painting For Life.

The vision? Born in 2011 by two unstoppable women — Lauren Sharpton and Lisa Rasmussen, co-founders of Art is Moving (whom I met during a 2018 retreat in Greece). They dreamed of a day when everyone could drop their daily routine, step out of limiting social or economic structures, and simply create.

All art supplies are provided.
Public spaces turned into art studios.
Strangers becoming co-creators.

Because Lauren and Lisa knew — art isn’t a luxury. It’s an essential nutrient for a healthy, connected life.
