Shop & Bop

HeARTworks is Art with a Heart’s workforce development program, which uses art as a vehicle to teach youth, ages 14-24 job skills, life skills and more. As part of our summer HeARTworks programming, we are currently hosting a group of 35 young people from the Mayor's YouthWorks program, which is a 5-week workforce training program for young people in Baltimore City.

After YouthWorks wraps in early August, Art with a Heart hosts Shop & Bop, where the students market and sell the artwork they created in the program. Shop & Bop is part celebration, part art exhibition and is a chance for the YouthWorks students to engage with the public, share the stories behind their creations and gain hands-on experience in marketing, retail and more.
