Join us at Port Discovery for a day of learning and play!
There will be some fun things going on at the museum, including engineering and aeronautics. That is in addition to the regular exhibits, and the fantastic slide! For our visit, there are a couple of options. You can have self-guided tour and enjoy letting your kids play at the museum, or you can add on a class in the Discovery Lab for $5 more. The minimum for the class is 15 students.
Ages: 1-10 years old (older or younger kids are welcome to come)
Parking: The nearest parking garage is the Harbor Park Garage, located at 55 Market Place, Baltimore, MD 21202. This parking garage is located next door and within a very short walk to the main entrances for the Museum. Metered street parking may also be available.
Food: You are permitted to bring food and drinks into the Museum, but please note that they are not permitted inside the Museum exhibits. There is a designated eating area at Port Discovery in which you may eat your lunch or snacks. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no access to refrigerators. But there are microwaves.
Port Discovery offers vending machines for snacks and beverages in the Museum. Please note that there is not a café nor a restaurant in the Museum.
Conveniently, many family-friendly restaurants are nearby and within a short walk from the Museum. Several nearby restaurants offer special discounts to Port Discovery guests and members. Explore available offers and restrictions here,
