La Tierra Nunca Olvida / The Land Never Forgets

Join artist Edgar Reyes at BMA Lexington Market for a hands-on exploration of the cyanotype process. In this workshop, learn about methods of developing prints and photograms while reflecting on personal connections to the vibrant city of Baltimore. Explore mixed media and collage techniques to add depth and texture to your personal design.

This workshop is free. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

BMA Lexington Market is located in the Upper Market near the Baltimore Room at 112 N. Eutaw Street.

About the Artist
Edgar Reyes is a multimedia artist and professor. Reyes’ work invites viewers to think about the people, places, and connections they carry with them. His practice draws on the specifics of his own life as well as reflections of shared experiences of resettlement and migration. Through his art-making, he explores his family’s Mexican and Indigenous roots.
