Guitar Lesson for Beginners

Ready to start your guitar journey? This beginner-friendly class will guide you through the fundamentals of playing guitar in a fun and easy-to-follow way. Participants must bring their own guitar.

Part One – Learn how to tune your guitar, read tablature, and develop basic picking techniques. You'll also learn your first song!
Part Two – Dive into chords! We'll explore open chords and strumming patterns while learning a second song.
Part Three – Tackle bar chords and put it all together with a third song to showcase your progress.

Ages: 12+

With one session per month, this class gives you time to practice and build confidence between lessons. Whether you’ve never picked up a guitar before or just need a refresher, this course is the perfect way to get started. Let’s make some music!

Presenter: We’re excited to introduce Drake Johnson as the instructor for our beginner’s guitar class! With a decade of playing experience, he understands what it’s like to start from scratch and is still learning and growing as a guitarist. His approachable teaching style makes this class perfect for beginners, creating a relaxed and supportive environment to build confidence and skills.
