Christopher Chambers is a Shamus and Anthony, and PEN/Malamud-nominated crime fiction and graphic novel writer. He’s lawyer and affordable student housing developer, a native of Washington DC yet proud graduate of McDonogh School in Baltimore. Random House published his hardcover thrillers Sympathy for the Devil and A Prayer for Deliverance. His short stories appeared in major anthologies including the Anthony award-winning The Obama Inheritance; he’s a contributor to Marvel’s The Black Panther: Tales of Wakanda and Sam Wilson: The Shield of Captain America. K.T. Nguyen is a former Glamour magazine editor. Her Agatha Award-winning psychological thriller YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID is currently nominated for both the Macavity Award and the Anthony for Best First Novel. It was named a People Magazine Best Book of April 2024 and a Best Mystery and Thriller Book of 2024 by Elle, Parade, and Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine. K.T. enjoys practicing Krav Maga, rooting for the Mets, and playing with her Jack Russell Terrier Alice. A graduate of Brown University, she lives just outside of Washington, D.C. with her family.

Sujata Massey was born in England to parents from India and Germany, grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and lives in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a features reporter for the Baltimore Evening Sun before becoming a full-time novelist.
