Hastings Fire Brigade Battery Bonanza

Hastings and surrounds! After the success of our last battery bonanza, we're running this fundraiser again in September!!

Clear out your property ready for summer, and bring us your old car and dry-cell batteries! We'll recycle the batteries, continuing to raise money for a much-needed new 4x4 Forward Command Vehicle*.

Where: Drop off your batteries at the rear of Hastings Fire Station (149 High Street) - Access via side-driveway
Time: 9am - 12pm,
Dates: 7, 14, 21, & 28 September!

We'll be on site to collect your batteries.

*Forward Command Vehicles are are a critical component of a bushfire strike team, leading a crew of up to 5 tankers. We also use them for a variety of important roles at urban incidents, such as control points and logistical support. The new and improved FCVs are not only more capable and advanced vehicles, but offer tailor-upgraded canopy sections, perfectly fitted out with equipment and features for crew and strike team leaders to take command and of teams and incidents!
