The Lonesome Trail: Arborglyphs and Basque Sheepherders in the Far West

This event features renowned guest speakers, Christopher Livingston, Director of CSUB Historical Research Center and Dr. Steve Gamboa, who will share their insights on how these carvings reflect the identity and history of the Basque people, along with the importance of preserving them for future generations. Attendees will also experience stunning 3D digital images of these carvings, offering a rare chance to see these historical artifacts up close.
