Objective:GroundWorks teaches participants the fundamentals of land stewardship, sustainable agriculture, and ecological responsibility. It covers key topics such as composting, water conservation, native plants, and rotational grazing, with a hands-on approach that encourages a deep, practical understanding of how to care for the land.

Key Components:

• Living Soil & Composting: Hands-on activities to create compost and understand its importance in soil health.
• Water Sequestration & Conservation: Lessons on water management techniques, including rainwater harvesting and water-efficient gardening.
• Seeds, Native Plants, & Gardening: Planting native species and learning about sustainable gardening practices.

Rotational Grazing & Animal Interactions: Engaging with our resident animals (chickens, goats, sheep, horses) to understand rotational grazing practices
