Let's try this again...I wanted to see who was paying attention!
May is National Older Americans Month. What can you do to make an Older American feel special this week. This months meeting is on May 20th. At 8:30 AM we start the social time and at 9:00 we start the meeting. The meeting is at Madison House , a Bainbridge Senior Living Community on Bainbridge Island. Lori Drier will be hosting us with her Speaker Christian Sullivan of Home Street Bank , speaking on Fraud Uptick. The address for the meeting is 285 Madison Ave S, Bainbridge Island WA.
Last month we met at , Bay Point Senior Living again and we want to give Jessica and Haily many thanks for their kindness hosting us twice when we were scrambling. Currently we are full of hosting spots thru April 2026. IF you are interested let Lois Jasmer Washington know and we will put you on the schedule.
The April meeting was very interesting with Leah Frazier of Advanced Parkinsons Disease Assoc and Tim of Tim's Medical Supplies. They provided us with lots of great information and we thank them for taking the time to meet with us.
If you want to highlight your business, bring a raffle basket to the meeting. We will do a drawing at the end of the meeting and announce your business. Due to the growing size of the group, only new members will do introductions unless time permits. 8:30 to 9 is a great time to connect with others.
Bring your filers for any special events you may be hosting and put them on the tables. We will also give you a moment to announce your event at the meetings. You can also send them to anyone on the Leadership team and we will get them on our Facebook page Kitsap Provider Breakfast Facebook Page We encourage you to go to the our page and LIKE US and connect us to others you may know in the county.
We are working on a Senior Focused event in the fall at Kitsap Mall and an online Webinar for the hospital. WE have set the Webinar up for the next few months but if you would like to present a great topic to the hospital Social Workers let Lois Jasmer know and we can keep it going. It is more for the education of the team at the hospital than to just market your business. WE may have something in the works for that as well.
Many of you have signed up to provide the Birthday Cake to the Silverdale Senior Center and if you have not but would like to contact Lois Jasmer to be put on the list. Right now it is also booked until 2026.
Just a reminder to go to Applebee’s on the 15th of May from noon to close and tell them you are there for the Bremerton Senior Center Fundraiser.
