⭐️Celebrating 10 years of Parklife Weekend! Aylesbury’s biggest free music festival returns this August bank holiday weekend⭐️
It’s set to be an event to remember! Visitors can expect an electrifying weekend, with activities and entertainment for children and adults alike. Local bars and caterers will be available for visitors to purchase food and drinks from across the entire weekend.
⭐️Live in the Park – Saturday 23 August, 12 noon–9.30pm⭐️
The weekend kicks off with Live in the Park, offering an exciting mix of musical genres across two stages to get you in the festival mood, running all day and evening from 12 noon to 9.30pm and showcasing an all-star line up from across the last 10 years.
The Big Tent, hosted by Radley Windows and Doors, will provide a variety of children’s entertainment from 12 noon until 6pm. DJ Dan Blaze will take over from 6.30pm for the brand-new Club in the Park – the family friendly retro rave experience for all!
There will also be a range of local organisations, groups and charities attending to provide free hands-on activities and fundraising for amazing causes, as well as market stalls offering the opportunity for visitors to take home a souvenir of their day.
⭐️Battle of the Bands and Bandeoke – Sunday 24 August, 12 noon–6.30pm⭐️
Sunday starts with a little healthy competition as XYZ Music Academy host local bands and artists competing for a chance to win a spot on the main stage at the 2026 Live in the Park event. With two age categories and a ton of local talent, visitors can expect a diverse range of styles, friendly competition and bands made up from all walks of life.
This will be followed by Bandeoke – for visitors who’ve always wanted to be the lead singer in a band, this is the chance! This event offers the opportunity to choose from a selection of tracks performed with a full live band, or cheer on the performers and soak up the electric atmosphere.
Free festival crafts will be available, as well as glitter tattoos for a donation to the Mayor’s Charity. Aylesbury Church Network will also be running Church in the Park, on the Sunday morning from 10.30am to 12:30pm.
⭐️Proms in the Park – Sunday 24 August, 7.15–9.30pm⭐️
As the sun sets on Parklife Weekend 2025, Proms in the Park promises a truly special evening of live music and celebrating summer in style.
Join Aylesbury Concert Band and local musicians for a rock-themed Proms in the Park featuring songs like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘Hey Jude’. DJ Dan Blaze will keep visitors entertained during a short interval from the Second Stage.
Union Jack flags will be on sale from the meeting point as visitors get ready to round off the weekend with Proms classics, followed by a spectacular fireworks display!
