VE Day 80 Celebration Coffee Morning

Join us in the Bradshaw Meeting Room, above the Axminster Heritage Centre for a 1940s-Themed Coffee Morning on Thursday, 8th May, 2025 (VE Day 80), 9am - 12pm as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Refreshments, cakes and biscuits available (please bring cash as we do not have a card machine upstairs).

To recreate the atmosphere and nostalgia of this time period, our volunteers will all be dressed in 1940s clothing. Why not consider joining us? Everyone in 1940s attire will receive a free drink of coffee - we would offer tea, but that was heavily rationed!!

We will also have a fantastic range of secondhand books for sale - fiction and non-fiction about WW2.
