Learn how to help young athletes recover and safely return to soccer at our upcoming event!

About this Event

This course provides a comprehensive overview of rehabilitation and return-to-play strategies for adolescent soccer field players and goalkeepers. Soccer is a high-demand sport requiring agility, endurance, power and strength, making proper rehabilitation essential for a safe and successful return to play.

During this course, participants will explore the latest evidence-based approaches to injury assessment, rehabilitation and performance progression in adolescent soccer athletes.

Key topics include:

  • Rehabilitation strategies for common soccer injuries
  • Neuromuscular control
  • Biomechanical considerations
  • Return-to-play criteria and testing
  • Strategies for reducing re-injury risk

By the end of this course, participants will have gained the knowledge and skills to evaluate injuries, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, implement return-to-sport strategies and optimize athletic performance in adolescent soccer players. This course is ideal for physical therapists and athletic trainers.

4.0 continuing education units (CEUs) have been approved for physical therapists and athletic trainers.


Following this course, participants will be able to know:

  • Common injuries in adolescent soccer players and understand their impact on return to sport
  • Movement patterns, neuromuscular control, and biomechanical factors contributing to injury risk
  • Evidence-based rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, mobility, and sport-specific function
  • How to apply progressive return-to-play protocols based on objective criteria and functional testing
  • How to implement sport-specific conditioning and performance training to optimize long-term athletic success
