Meet us for a Sunday afternoon of tunes, pizza pies, and chill vibes in one of Avila’s best-kept secrets - The Secret Garden at Sycamore Springs featuring LIVE music from Eight-string hybrid guitarist/bassist Gary Wooten and drummer Ryan House performing instrumental versions of all of your favorite songs in an interactive "ALL REQUEST SHOW" format. At each table there will be a card with a QR code which takes you to a list of over 180 songs to choose your requests and dedications from and a QR code to text your requests to. They will be performing your requests with no sheet music, charts, cheat sheets... all 180 possible songs "LIVE, WITHOUT A NET!" This will be a special 80’s Dance Party set! Come out to hear your favorite early MTV tunes and bring your dancing shoes to show off your 80’s moves like the Running Man, the Sprinkler, the Cabbage Patch, Electric Slide, hell I might even do a Moonwalk for ya!
Also featuring the CrowdSource Song where the crowd will be asked for a letter from the musical alphabet and a number from 1-7 for the chord progression and Gary will write the melody on the spot, together writing an original song live with the audience. Film it, save it, share it, post it - “and you can tell everybody, this is your song.” Videos of every song will be posted @ CrowdSourceSong.com

GARY WOOTEN'S LOW STANDARDS AUTONOMOUS NICKELODEON - While cover songs may be an almost predictable offering from most artists you've never heard anything quite like this before. As a student of guitar for over 40 years, Gary has mastered a specialized sound and performance on an 8-string guitar, a hybrid instrument which combines both elements of a guitar and bass in one. Splitting half the strings to the bass, and the other to guitar, each sound is wired to its own amp, essentially playing the part of two instruments. New fans are awed and old fans have been treated to this phenomenon for the last 5 years as Gary represents both the bassist and guitarist for local award-winning band, Moonshiner Collective.
