Reclaiming the Sacred: An Exploration of Prayer
Beloved, we are living in a time when spirituality is rapidly expanding. Many people are navigating religious trauma, spiritual disillusionment, and oppression. In the midst of all this, discovering or maintaining a personal connection to prayer can feel both necessary and challenging. This workshop offers a supportive and sacred space to explore a relationship with prayer in a way that is free from expectation and allegiance.
Together, we will journey through:
❤️Engaging conversations about how prayer shows up in daily life
❤️Practicing movement and somatic techniques that help embody and channel prayer
❤️Identifying your unique spiritual gifts and how they shape your connection with the Divine
❤️Reflecting on areas of life where prayer can offer healing, discernment, and strength
❤️Developing your prayer practice
❤️Holding space for individual and collective prayer through offering empathy, love, and energy for each other, our humanity, and the world
You do not need to believe in any specific concept of God or follow any particular spiritual path to enjoy this experience. You are invited to come as you are and to explore prayer in a way that is authentic to you. My hope is that you will leave having deepened spiritual intimacy with yourself, with others, and with the Divine.
