Summer Solstice Bivvy on Ben Macdui

Come with us on the Summer Solstice and experience a high-mountain Bivvy.

We're delighted to be running our Solstice bivvy trek again this year. It's a wonderful way to experience the shortest night of the year and we can't wait to be heading up Ben Macdui again as the sun starts to go down.

What about the bivvy?
If you're unfamiliar with bivvy camping, it's a way of sleeping outside with some protection from the elements. Your sleeping bag and mat are inside, keeping you nice and warm, and a waterproof shell keeps you dry. We sometimes pop a tarp up for extra protection if needed, but we LOVE falling asleep gazing at the sky.

We provide the bivvy bag and hot drinks. And we'll even cook you a hot mountain breakfast the next morning before heading over toward Loch Avon and over the Cairn Gorm summit.

Perfect for anyone with a sense of adventure! If you've wanted to try bivvy camping but not sure where to begin, this is for you. We'll hopefully give you the bug!
