Heritage In Action Day

On Thurs 23rd October come and join in the fun for our last event of the season! No need to book, just come along between 11am - 3pm (Museum open 10.30am - 4pm). Timings of activities are below:

11am - Launch of the Barns Farm Coracle
Visit our Curling Pond to see the launch of a very
special Bronze Age replica coracle. The launch will
be repeated at 2pm.

11.45am - Unveiling of the Sawmill Waterwheel at the Sawmill Pond we will be switching on our newly restored waterwheel,
after ongoing a lengthy restoration project.

All day - Hunt around the historic buildings on our family Bat Trail - £1.50 per trail from Reception.

11am to 3pm - Textile Crafts at the Township
In our Township we will be demonstrating various textile crafts such as spinning, dyeing, and weaving.
