Boat Talks: The Long Way Round - The Island Munros Triathlon with Alex Moran

Join us at Boat of Garten Community Hall on Monday 3 November 2025 at 7:30pm for the first Boat Talk of the 2025-2026 season.

With fellow mountaineer Mike Coppock, Alex Moran completed the first ever Island Munros Triathlon – an extraordinary 32-hour adventure across Scotland’s wildest terrain. Together they traversed the Greater Cuillin Ridge, cycled more than 250km across the Highlands, swam the Sound of Mull, and finished on Ben More.

Hear firsthand what it took to bring this esoteric endurance challenge to life – from the logistics to the mental grit, and everything in between.
