Boat Talks: The Longest Straight Line in the UK with Jonathan & Sam Bellarby

It was once thought that the longest straight-line hike in the UK that doesn’t cross a road would be in the Cairngorms. But in April this year, father and son Jonathan and Sam Bellarby from Boat of Garten proved otherwise — completing an incredible 80km trek through the Monadh Liath, from Spean Bridge to Carrbridge, over four arduous (and pathless) days.

Hear their story of navigation, endurance and adventure across some of Scotland’s wildest terrain.
