National Night Out is a great opportunity for citizens and first responders to partner up to take back our streets! We invite you to attend our Windsor Hills Neighborhood event, meet your neighbors, meet members of our public safety community, and commit to helping law enforcement reduce crime in our community.
National Night Out is Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, from 6 to 8PM Thanks to Harold and Leeleen Sundbeck (9700 Halifax Drive, Austin, TX 78753) for hosting. Please bring a food item or drinks for this potlock event with your neighbors.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support and participation in crime efforts
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community relations
- Let criminals know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
During the event, residents in neighborhoods throughout Austin and across the nation are asked to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors and spend the evening outside with their neighbors, police officers, firefighters and EMS paramedics.
