Texas Health Catalyst (TxHC) is a collaborative program between Dell Medical School, Cockrell School of Engineering, College of Ph*rm*cy, College of Natural Sciences, and Discovery to Impact that accelerates healthcare innovations from across UT Austin.

We invite you to The Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship’s Summer 2025 Texas Health Catalyst Roundup & Rodeo. This event brings together Austin’s innovation & entrepreneurship community to support our finalists from this year’s Texas Health Catalyst cohort along with several successful alumni to present their innovations and progress toward commercialization.

This spring, TxHC put out a call for proposals for a Patient-Centered Hospital of the Future Challenge which aims to revolutionize health care delivery by developing patient-centric solutions that enhance outcomes, streamline workflows and integrate emerging technologies.

Projects to be presented include:

• A software platform for personalized radiation therapy plans for glioma patients
• CerebroSonic: robot-assisted real-time brain imaging system for stroke care
• CPR Cart: Optimizing CPR Delivery
• FibroX: Explainable AI for Noninvasive Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) Risk Stratification
• High-strength Polymeric Bone Implants using a Hybrid Manufacturing Method
• Integrated Behavioral Health Practitioner Empowerment Initiative
• Project Resilient: wearable device to manage Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HA)
• Wearable Haptic and AI-Enabled Personalized Surgical Coach
