Caring for someone with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) can be deeply rewarding—but it can also take a toll on mental health. Join us for a meaningful and practical session focused on supporting the mental well-being of both caregivers and individuals with I/DD.

During this session, representatives from NAMI Southeast Minnesota will guide a discussion on:

Coping strategies for managing stress and burnout

Mental health conditions common among individuals with I/DD

Local and statewide mental health resources

Simple, effective self-care practices for busy caregivers

Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your loved one, or both—this session will offer tools, understanding, and encouragement in a safe, supportive space.

Open to all parents and caregivers in the I/DD community.
