Session 3 of YWCA Greater Austin’s GenYW program is a no-cost Summer Program for students entering into 6th-8th grade in August. The program will address social-emotional and self-regulation skill development using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities, connection with peers, and experiential exercises (yoga and mindful movement). Bring a lunch and get ready to discover new things!
The GenYW program provides psychoeducational groups for youth in their school setting as well as in their communities and at our offices. For summer we will be offering an abbreviated version of our program at no-cost to participants.
Prior to the start of the first day, all paperwork must be completed by parents/guardians. Additional details will be sent to the email address used for registration within Eventbrite.
