New Moon Plunge & Run

The New Moon comes with transformational energy and an empowering presence. Last Decemeber, we began a tradition of plunging into the healing waters of Barton Springs Pool on the New Moon and the experience was nothing short of magical. Through the course of the year, we've continued to plunge, but with a much smaller group.

This new moon, we're encouraging any and every woman to come show up for yourself in a way that is sure to rejuivinate your spirit!

Join us Thursday, July 24th @ 5AM at the Barton Springs Pool.

We'll plunge before a nice morning run. (see schedule for details)

(We know it's early, but we promise, it'll set the tone for such a beautiful day)

This event will be especially magical because we'll be accepting donations for the Women's Empowerment Coalition. (WECO)

WECO is addressing the generational impacts of female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage—harmful practices that, despite being outlawed, still affect young Maasai girls today. In many rural communities, girls are still exchanged for livestock and married off as children, often becoming widows by their teenage years, left with no education, income, or support.

To break this cycle, WECO is raising $25,000 for two key projects in 2025:

A Community Farm that will provide nutritious food to the local school and widows’ village—and generate income for families through market sales.

A Mentorship Program for junior secondary girls to keep them on the path to academic success through workshops, peer support, and community role models.

We are still quite a ways away from our personal goal ($2000) towards this venture, but we're hoping in an effort to empower and bring women together we can also raise some money to empower women across the world!
