Local Author Kris Bertelsen

A tragic story is written by Austinite Kris Bertelsen – Pain in Paynesville. We all know the story of Jacob Wetterling. Kris and his young group of friends lived in the town 20 minutes away – and were the first victims of Jacob’s killer. You’ll hear about the stalking, the reporting, the trauma which Kris and his friends experienced and why Kris rose above it to be come our area trauma counselor. He is here Monday, Aug 4, with a slide show that helps explains.
