Guinean dance class w/Mami!
Come learn Guinean dance to live drumming and build community!

Mami Camara teaches Guinean dance w/live drumming, all levels, now on MONDAYS from 7-8:30 pm. Hailing from Conakry, Guinea, in West Africa, much of Mami's teaching particularly reflects the rich cultural heritage and traditions of her Baga family lineage.

Class happens at TAPESTRY DANCE, 2015 E Riverside Dr, Bldg #7, Austin, TX 78741 -- Tapestry is behind TacoMore, and to the right of MudPuppies. Arrive early for parking.

Mami is an amazing member of, and a Guinean dance teacher for Lannaya Drum & Dance.

Tapestry Dance's studio has a professional dance floor and is air-conditioned. Participants encouraged to bring their own filled water bottles.
