Join us on the East Side of Austin for a relaxed afternoon potluck and Zero Waste Workshop with Ming Cheng. Because this will be held at a residence, the address will be shared a few days prior to the event.
We ask that everyone arrive between 4:30 and 5:00pm with a small plant-based dish or snack to share. (For this event, plant-based = vegan)
This is a great opportunity to connect with others who care about sustainability, enjoy a bite to eat, and learn all about how to lower our personal plastic consumption.
No idea what to bring?
Check out easy plant-based recipes here or bring a dip + chips, popcorn, cut-up fruit, etc.
Purchase something from a nearby business (Mr. Natural, The Vegan Nom, Tamale House, etc)
Or if you really can't bring something, just show up anyway! We won't be checking :)
Some out-of-the-norm requirements for this event:
1. Only one ticket per person - everyone must be registered individually at the ticketing link. (this is because the event is held in a private space)
2. Unfortunately nonhuman animals are not allowed in this space
3. If you can, please bring your own silverware and plate - if not, the house will have some, but we will be weird about making sure the plates and silverware which belong to the home stay in the home.
4. And as always, by attending this event, you agree to our event policies. (found at the ticketing link)
